The ideal candidate will support and work as part of a team to deliver exceptional food quality, outstanding guest care, and amazing service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing an excellent guest experience by being attentive, responsive, and friendly at all times.
  • Assisting guests in choosing meals and drinks and providing additional up-sell information.
  • Processing guests 'orders through the POS system.
  • Delivering orders to the kitchen and assisting in preparing and packing food and beverages.
  • Ensuring that the portion of food being packed or served looks appealing.
  • Promoting additional food items to complement the guest experience & increase sales.
  • Processing sales, providing guests with receipts, and delivering food.
  • Greeting EVERY guest in a genuine and warm manner.
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with an enquiry.
  • Assembling and packaging orders to the brand standard.
  • Keeping all guest areas clean, sanitary, and tidy.

Key skills and knowledge needed for the job include:

  • Able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other team members.
  • Maintain a clean & smart appearance.
  • Display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all tasks.
  • Exhibit a cheerful and helpful attitude, and always provide excellent guest care.
  • Adapt to changing business volume levels with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of the menu & Allergens.
  • Be able to follow instructions to achieve brand standards (The GDK way).
  • Maintain the ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen and front counter.
  • Believe and care for exceptional guest service and impeccable standards.
