Job Summary

We are excited to be recruiting for a temporary Talent Acquisition position to support our commercial/corporate recruitment functions for the next 7-8 months. This position can be based out of our headquarters or our office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with site Business HR, supporting recruitment activities for assigned Abbott UK businesses.
  • Support multiple commercial and corporate divisions, driving full-cycle recruiting efforts from intake session through to offer negotiation and hire using Abbott's ATS, Workday.
  • Translate business needs into recruitment strategies and actions, meeting high-quality standards in hiring practices.
  • Consult with hiring managers and Business HR to understand skill requirements, background, and experience needed for each requisition.
  • Develop a comprehensive internal and external recruitment strategy for each requirement, setting and managing expectations.
  • Conduct salary negotiation and management of the offer process aligned with Business HR.
  • Complete diligent contract request process, to include conducting reference checks.
  • Ensure ATS (Workday) is maintained and accurate at all times, as well as relevant CRM (Phenom) actions.
  • Expertly manage efficient temp-to-perm hiring.
  • Advocate for our candidate promise of a best-in-class recruitment service, support TA goals, and as required, ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in full cycle recruitment, ideally in the healthcare industry, with experience in direct sourcing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build professional relations across all levels of the business, including senior leaders and HR.
  • Strong work ethic, motivated to deliver best-in-class recruitment and ensure candidate and hiring manager satisfaction.
