We are currently seeking a temporary Talent Acquisition Associate through our Third Party Labour supplier to assist with our corporate recruitment initiatives for a duration of several months. This role can be performed from our Maidenhead headquarters or our Solihull location.

In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with site Business HR, facilitating recruitment efforts for designated Abbott UK divisions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will oversee various commercial and corporate sectors, managing comprehensive recruiting processes from initial discussions to offer negotiations and hiring using Abbott's ATS, Workday.

All services are executed within Abbott's framework, utilizing technology and methodologies that require the ability to translate business needs into effective recruitment strategies. High standards must be upheld in hiring practices, including evaluation against KPIs such as time to fill, hiring manager and candidate satisfaction surveys, and direct sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a thorough understanding of each client’s business objectives and strategies. Consult with hiring managers and Business HR to identify skill requirements, backgrounds, and experiences necessary for each position. Collaborate with hiring managers to create a detailed internal and external recruitment strategy for each role, setting and managing expectations. Identify and implement suitable sourcing methods to attract qualified candidates. Source, screen, and guide candidates throughout the recruitment process, demonstrating excellent communication skills and providing constructive feedback. Ensure adherence to a structured, best practice competency-based interview process. Conduct salary negotiations and manage the offer process in alignment with Business HR. Complete a thorough contract request process, including conducting reference checks. Maintain and ensure accuracy in ATS (Workday) and relevant CRM (Phenom) actions at all times. Efficiently manage temp-to-perm hiring processes. Proactively identify and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues. Uphold our candidate promise of delivering a top-tier recruitment service, supporting TA objectives and participating in ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

University degree. Some prior experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in healthcare, with a focus on direct sourcing. Strong assessment skills to evaluate candidates' business capabilities, technical backgrounds, and key competencies. Professional, accountable, and a collaborative team player. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building professional relationships across all levels of the organization, including senior leaders and HR. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities. Strong work ethic, driven to deliver exceptional recruitment outcomes and ensure satisfaction for both candidates and hiring managers. A desire to learn, grow, and succeed.
