Job Summary:
Command Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join our client's dynamic accounting team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, processing invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
About the Role:
- Setting up new clients and managing their accounts
- Producing and processing invoices
- Banking and reconciliation of transactions
- Running off turnover statements and chasing outstanding debts
- Sorting out rebates and filing
- Verifying VAT inclusion on invoices
- Providing creditors with VAT receipts
About You:
- Previous experience in an accounting role
- Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy within accounts
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Employee Benefits:
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexibility (9 am - 5:30 pm or 8:30 am - 5 pm)
- Starting salary up to £26,000 dependent on experience, plus excellent benefits package
- 25 days annual leave, increasing by one day each year, plus bank holidays
- AAT study package available

Estimated Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum based on the national average for this position in the UK.
