**Job Title**:Purchase Ledger Administrator
**Location**:Peterborough / Hybrid option
**Contract**: Full time 12 month fixed term contract

Due to exciting growth of our business we are seeking a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our professional finance team in Peterborough on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong admin and/or customer service background who is looking for a step into accountancy.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Be responsible for the accuracy of the Purchase Ledger master data
- Perform background checks on new and dormant suppliers
- Verify the bank details for all new suppliers and any changes to bank details by way of telephone
- Assist the Purchase Ledger team with the statement reconciliations and ensure any discrepancies are actioned
- Be available to perform ad-hoc Purchase Ledger duties

- The ability to work to strict deadlines
- Be able to prioritise and organise a high volume of work
