**Major and Growing Car Dealership Group are seeking a Purchase Ledger Manager to join them at Peterborough. You will be managing 8 Purchase Ledger Clerks, so previous supervision experience is required.**

**Purchase Ledger Manager**
- 15 Ledgers - 24 car dealerships - 8 team members.
- 4 environments - 15 bank accounts - 3 banks (Barclays, HSBC, NatWest)
- 37.5 hours per week (1 hour lunch) Rota 8.30 to 5 or 9 to 5.30
- Use Kerridge (CDK) - Motor Trade Preference - (Not Essential)

**Salary upto £32,000 + Company Benefits**

**Job Requirements**:

- Current relevant experience in this role is a requirement.
- Strong people management skills:

- Holding 1-2-1's (reviews) with team members - Action plans
- Ability to utilise Performance Improvement Plans if necessary and monitor.
- Ability to confidently communicate with team members.
- Conflict resolution
- Provide training where identified or requested.
- Able to learn new systems and processes.
- Bank statement allocation experience
- System reporting experience (month end)
- Maximise supplier payments (daily, monthly) - authorise payments & monthly supplier pay runs.
- Work as part of the management team, and the Sales Ledger Manager
- Customer focused (internal & external)
- Ledger management/reviews/monitoring
- Proven ability to prioritise their own tasks and that of the team to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel
