Job Summary

The Director of Programme Management will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of high-value, complex projects from concept to completion at AVIC Cabin Systems. This role involves full responsibility for programme delivery, ensuring that programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in programme management within complex manufacturing, ideally aviation or aerospace. Strong leadership and mentoring skills are required, as well as a project management qualification and commercial and financial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform the business to a 'Full Product Lifecycle Programs Lead' by implementing lean processes and driving output excellence
  • Serve as the first point of contact within the company for all programme-related escalations from customers and OEMs
  • Report to board level on programme performance in line with contract deliverables and budgets
  • Establish collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers externally to ensure clear communication of programme requirements and timelines
  • Identify and mitigate portfolio risks/issues
