Treasury Leadership Opportunity:
Propel Finance is seeking a highly skilled Capital Markets Manager to lead our treasury function and drive strategic growth. As a key member of our finance team, you will oversee liquidity and debt management, with a focus on risk mitigation and stakeholder management. You will work closely with the Exco, finance, and operational teams to ensure optimal liquidity structures, efficient cash flow management, and effective funding strategies are in place to support the company's growth and strategic objectives.

About the Role:
As a Capital Markets Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing short- and long-term cash flow forecasting models to ensure the business maintains optimal working capital. You will also manage and optimize banking relationships and funder deliverables to ensure smooth financial operations. Lead refinancing activities, ensuring the company has appropriate access to capital markets, primarily through securitisation structures. Manage debt portfolio, ensuring compliance with covenants and aligning capital structure with corporate risk strategy. Lead negotiations with financial institutions and investors to drive favourable lending terms. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate key financial risks: Liquidity, interest rate, and counterparty risks. Manage hedging strategies to protect against market volatility. Work closely with the CFO and other Senior Finance team members to enable the business to achieve strategic goals. Prepare and present regular treasury reports to the executive team, highlighting key financial metrics, risks, and opportunities.

Requirements:
Experience of management of external bank funder relationships. Pool data analysis and financial modelling. Progressive experience in treasury or finance roles, ideally within a bank or non-bank lending environment. Extensive experience in debt management, including securitisation structures. Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive a range of benefits, including 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, 2 additional days holiday after 5 years' service, birthday day off, opt-in Private Medical Insurance, subsidised gym membership, and more.
