About the Role

As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services to children, young people, and their families in various settings.

You will work closely with other professionals to provide comprehensive support, addressing the unique needs of each individual. Your expertise in speech and language therapy will be essential in helping us achieve our goal of improving health outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering speech and language therapy services, including assessments, treatment plans, and interventions. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve communication skills and overall well-being.

Your day-to-day activities may involve working in community settings, schools, and clinics, as well as participating in multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
  • Holding a HCPC Licence to Practice
  • Experience working in a multi-agency team environment
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge of child development and its application to speech and language therapy
  • Familiarity with assessment tools, treatment techniques, and therapeutic interventions

Please note that significant relevant experience at undergraduate/postgraduate level is highly desirable.
