Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Travel Experience Specialist to join our dynamic team at TruTravels in Kingston Upon Thames. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving revenue growth by connecting travellers with our curated tour options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales & Conversion:
    • Drive sales by matching travellers with the most suitable tours based on their interests and needs.
    • Maximize conversion rates by actively managing inquiries and following up on leads promptly and professionally.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of weekly and monthly performance targets, working collaboratively with the team to achieve these goals.
  • Customer Service:
    • Serve as the primary contact for travellers, providing excellent support via phone, email, and live chat.
    • Address inquiries with a professional and friendly approach, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration with Operations:
    • Coordinate with the operations team to manage last-minute tour requests and secure bookings efficiently.
    • Communicate customer needs accurately to ensure a smooth and organized travel experience.
  • Marketing Support:
    • Provide continuous feedback to the marketing team to ensure effective communication of key sales messages across social media and other channels.
    • Contribute insights on customer needs and preferences to help shape targeted marketing campaigns.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years in a travel sales role or similar position.
  • Passionate about travel, with a strong knowledge of our destinations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record in sales with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to collaborate across departments and contribute to various aspects of the business.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000-£35,000 per annum, which includes an attractive commission package.
