About the Role:

  • Teach Biology to students across various age groups, ensuring a high-quality learning experience aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Develop and maintain a stimulating learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific literacy.
  • Support students in achieving a deep understanding of biological concepts, theories, and research methods.
  • Prepare students for success in external exams (GCSE A-Level and beyond).
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Biology department to develop and implement curriculum plans.

The Ideal Applicant:

  • Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Biology or a related subject.
  • Demonstrate a genuine passion for Biology and a talent for engaging students.
  • Excel in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse student population.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to grow and succeed.
  • Commit to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
