Role Overview:

Ribbons & Reeves are recruiting a highly skilled Humanities Teaching Assistant to support students at an Ofsted graded "Outstanding" Secondary School in Richmond. As a Humanities Graduate with a passion for teaching, you will play a key role in delivering small group sessions and providing one-to-one support to students.

The Role:

  • Support students in class and deliver small group sessions in Humanities
  • Develop your teaching skills and confidence in delivering Humanities sessions to students with varying academic abilities
  • Mentorship from experienced teachers and access to tailored training sessions to enhance your skills
  • Opportunities to be enrolled onto the school's Teacher Training programme from September 2025
  • Competitive salary of £475-£550 per week

Requirements:

  • A First-Class Humanities Degree (at least a 2:1) from a top UK University
  • Previous child-centred experience
  • Commitment to a full academic year with aspirations to become a Humanities Teacher
