About the Role:

  • We are looking for a passionate educator who can design and deliver engaging and informative Biology lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum.
  • The successful candidate will cultivate a stimulating and safe learning environment that fosters a love of exploration, critical thinking, and scientific understanding.
  • The ideal candidate will guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of core biological principles, practical laboratory skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • They will prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE, A-Level as applicable).
  • The Biology teacher will collaborate with colleagues in the Science department and contribute to school-wide events.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Biology or a closely related subject.
  • Demonstrates a strong passion for biology and a captivating teaching style.
  • Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management.
  • Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
