The Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PE Teacher to contribute to the delivery of high-quality education and extracurricular activities. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Coordinating and participating in the school's extracurricular sports programme.
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
- Monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS) and a strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
- Excellent subject knowledge in Physical Education, with experience in teaching PE at secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum
