About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who can design and deliver engaging and informative Biology lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum. The successful candidate will cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of exploration, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver effective lesson plans and schemes of work in line with curriculum requirements
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to reach their full potential
  • Develop and implement assessment strategies to monitor student progress and understanding
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Biology or a closely related subject
  • Demonstrates a strong passion for Biology and a captivating teaching style
  • Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a high-achieving environment
