About the Role

This permanent position involves delivering engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the Reception curriculum. The successful candidate will foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the needs of young learners
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students' development
  • Provide individualized support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with other educators to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behavior
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a strong partnership between home and school
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception) or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Reception curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development
Salary

£30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
