Contract: A full-time SEN Class Teacher is needed to cover a maternity leave from January to July 2025

Salary Range: £31,500 - £42,600 per annum (£155 - £210 per day)

About the Position

CERT Solutions is currently looking for a qualified SEN Class Teacher to fill a maternity cover role from January to July 2025 at our Autism Specialist School in Handsworth.

This role involves designing and implementing engaging lesson plans for students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, and working closely with teaching assistants and families to provide comprehensive support.

Key Duties
  1. Develop and deliver creative lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of students with ASC.
  2. Create a supportive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that fosters academic and social growth.
  3. Collaborate with teaching staff, therapists, and families to ensure a holistic approach to supporting students.
  4. Monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to address individual requirements.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred.
  2. Experience working with children with ASC or in an SEN setting.
  3. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  4. A positive, patient, and resilient attitude.
