About the Job:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Home Companion Assistant. Your primary responsibility will be to provide companionship and support to our clients, engaging them in meaningful activities and conversations. You will also assist with daily tasks, such as:
- Meal preparation and nutrition planning to ensure our clients receive balanced and nutritious meals.
- Light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Medication administration and monitoring health conditions, following prescribed guidelines.
- Accompaniment to appointments and social events to promote social interaction and engagement.
Key Skills:
To succeed as a Home Companion Assistant, you must possess:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing client needs and circumstances.
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related purposes.
- Right to work in the UK and any necessary qualifications or certifications.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
