Care Assistant Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to live safely and independently in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and isolation.
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administering medication reminders and ensuring clients take prescribed medications on time.
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks to meet clients' dietary needs.
- Performing light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.
- Accompanying clients on outings and errands to promote social interaction and community engagement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A patient and empathetic approach to caring for clients with varying needs and abilities.
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work-related purposes.
- A legal right to work in the UK.
