£25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Live-in Carer to provide personalized care to our clients, including assistance with personal care, mobility, and medication reminders.
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality, personalized care to clients, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and well-being at all times.
- Preparing meals, managing household tasks, and maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Providing companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities and conversations.
- Working closely with the client's family and healthcare team to ensure clear and accurate communication of any changes in the client's health or care needs.
- Maintaining detailed records of care provided, conducting thorough handovers each Monday at the end of your rotation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to promoting clients' independence and well-being.
- Previous experience in care, preferably in a live-in setting.
- Flexibility, patience, and a respectful approach to clients' needs and preferences.
- Availability to work on a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation, with mandatory Monday morning handovers.
- The ability to build trusting relationships with clients, families, and the Home Instead care team.
