At Michael Page (UK), we are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Accounting Director to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take on a leadership role and drive the development of our cloud-based accounting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the entire accounting department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and strategic growth.
  • Develop and implement advanced cloud-based accounting solutions for a range of clients, leveraging your expertise in financial management and accounting laws.
  • Provide strategic financial advice and insights to senior management, driving business decisions and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting laws and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of financial governance.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing accurate and timely insights to stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A professional accounting qualification, such as ACA or ACCA.
  • Proven experience in managing an accounting department, with a strong track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with cloud-based accounting systems, including Xero and QuickBooks.
  • Confidence in client engagement and networking, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional financial management skills, with a deep understanding of accounting laws and regulations.

What We Offer:

  • An attractive salary package, ranging between £65,000 and £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
