Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Manager to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Groundworks Site Supervisor to take on a challenging role with a busy civils and groundworks contractor operating across Northern Ireland.

As a Senior Site Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all civils elements on site, leading a team to deliver high-quality results in a timely and safe manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full groundworks package for a large-scale site, inclusive of public realm works
  • Take full responsibility for a new site in Bangor, County Down, with further works already being planned
  • Lead the team to deliver high-quality results in a timely and safe manner
  • Maintain record books, read drawings, programme work, and ensure health & safety standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have relevant experience of overseeing civils works and be capable of managing site teams across multiple packages inclusive of groundworks, earthworks, drainage, foundations, and associated works.

You will be a self-starter, with a can-do attitude and a good level of organisation, as well as a high level of communication skills to brief the team daily on the scheduled works programme.
