About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a senior member of the team, you will report directly to the Transport Manager and be responsible for coordinating equipment control, processing repositioning requests, and producing tracking and tracing reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior member of the team, reporting to the Transport Manager.
- Coordinate equipment control and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Process repositioning requests and manage container movements.
- Produce tracking and tracing reports to monitor container movements.
- Monitor empty container inland moves and optimize logistics operations.
Requirements
- Happy to work 2-10pm shifts.
- Prior experience in equipment control is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of overseeing a team would be advantageous.
- Background in logistics or transport is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
