Job Title: Regional Engineering Manager

The Regional Engineering Manager will provide leadership and expertise in Technical Systems and Engineering across the Service Centres within our southern region. This role will oversee the implementation of Continuous Improvement and automation projects, ensuring the highest level of safety is maintained at each service centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide oversight and expertise in functional machinery safety, ensuring sites are audited and checked for safe operation of equipment.
  • Engineering Standards: Ensure all legislative requirements related to engineering and site services are being met, and all electrical and mechanical standards are followed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead site CI and MTBF improvement projects, and work with the Process Engineering team to develop site automation road maps.
  • Commissioning and Qualification: Lead the Commissioning, Qualification Verification phase of start-ups for big projects.
  • Training and Development: Work with the Training manager to ensure all Technical Training requirements are met.
Requirements:
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional Engineering Qualification (HNC or Degree level), Machinery Safety Qualification (Machinery Safety Expert or C&G), and ideally a NEBOSH certificate.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent Mechanical and Electrical engineering knowledge, and PLC/controls professional qualification.
  • Language and Communication: Fluent English and a driving license.
