Regional Engineering Lead

The position entails providing strategic leadership and technical expertise in Engineering and Technical Systems across the Service Centres in the southern region. The individual will oversee Continuous Improvement initiatives and automation projects to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest safety standards at each service centre by offering guidance and expertise in functional machinery safety.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure safe equipment operation.
  • Ensure compliance with all engineering and site service legislative requirements.
  • Adhere to electrical and mechanical standards rigorously.
  • Capture best practices and improvements through a structured change request process.
  • Collaborate with the Process Engineering team to formulate automation roadmaps for various sites.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement and Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) enhancement projects.
  • Oversee the Commissioning and Qualification Verification phases for major project start-ups.
  • Work alongside the Training Manager to fulfill all Technical Training needs.

Qualifications Required:

  • Professional Engineering Qualification at HNC or Degree level.
  • Machinery Safety Qualification (Machinery Safety Expert or C&G).
  • NEBOSH certificate is preferred.
  • PLC/controls professional qualification.
  • Strong knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical engineering.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant legislative requirements.
  • Fluency in English and possession of a valid driving license.
