Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Security and Compliance: Adhere to and enforce security protocols to safeguard system and data integrity, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Optimize Cloud Infrastructure: Enhance cloud infrastructure for optimal functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Automate Deployments and Configurations: Automate software deployments and configurations for seamless operations, using tools such as Ansible, YAML, Helm Charts, and Terraform.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architectural decisions with project objectives, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
  • Develop Incident Response Plans: Develop and execute incident response plans for regional outages, testing them monthly to ensure preparedness.
  • Maintain Database and System Backups: Automate and maintain comprehensive database and system backup processes, ensuring data integrity and recoverability.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Over 5+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or DevOps Engineer role, with expertise in deploying and managing services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Skills: Strong Python scripting skills, experience with configuration management tools, and familiarity with installing, configuring, and monitoring Linux systems in physical data centers.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and a proven track record as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar capacity.
