Job Description

This Senior Operations Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team at NHS Dorset. As part of the All Age Continuing Care Senior Management Team, you will support the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the quality of care delivered across Dorset.

You will be responsible for managing and leading operational workstreams to achieve high-quality outcomes, working closely with external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery. Your expertise will also be valuable in the production of reports and analysis that provide timely, responsive, and accurate business intelligence.

A strong understanding of government legislation and policies is essential, as well as evidence of management skills in recruitment and selection, performance management, and project management.

This role requires highly developed skills in accurately assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, with a focus on delivering person-centered services. Strong communication and negotiation skills are also crucial in engaging with individuals, their representatives, and system partners.
