Competitive Starting Salary: £20,735 per year

This Nuclear Software Engineering Degree Apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop cutting-edge software solutions for safety-critical systems.

You'll work alongside expert teams in our Submarines business, combining on-the-job training with a degree in Nuclear Software Engineering from the University of Derby.

The Programme:

Over four years, you'll gain hands-on experience in embedded, real-time safety-critical software, analysis software, and digital application development.

You'll learn essential skills in the software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to verification and validation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Five GCSEs at grade 4/C including Maths and English Language
  • A Level 3 Extended BTEC Diploma in a relevant subject at DDM
  • A T-Level at Merit in a STEM subject

A combination of A-levels and BTECs will not be accepted.
