Nuclear Systems Commissioning Specialist

Assystem GmbH is seeking an experienced Nuclear Systems Commissioning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our commissioning team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality commissioning services for complex nuclear licensed sites.
Your primary objective will be to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of nuclear systems, including conventional and environmental safety systems, control systems, process monitoring and control instrumentation, and wastewater tanks and discharge monitoring.
Key Accountabilities- System Commissioning: You will be accountable for the delivery of nuclear system commissioning requirements, including preparation of commissioning test procedures, management of commissioning teams, and organisation of meetings, tests, and demonstrations.
- Quality and Safety: You will ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, Project Delivery processes, and procedures while adhering to strict safety standards.
- Team Leadership: You will lead and manage commissioning teams, providing guidance and supervision as necessary.
- Qualifications: A degree in nuclear engineering or a related field, combined with 2-5 years of practical commissioning experience.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of nuclear systems, including conventional and environmental safety systems, control systems, process monitoring and control instrumentation, and wastewater tanks and discharge monitoring; experience with authoring commissioning test procedures, managing commissioning teams, and conducting vendor and supplier testing.
- Certifications: SC Clearance required, CSCS card or equivalent.
Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.
