Role Overview

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Purchasing function at Bentley Motors. Your primary responsibilities will include providing financial insights and analysis to inform business decisions, managing budgets, and guiding stakeholders. You will work closely with the Financial Controller - Purchasing to achieve material, investment, and overhead cost targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business partnering with Purchasing teams to achieve cost targets
  • Identifying risks and opportunities to achieve adjusted targets and company profit targets
  • Assisting with Planning Round inputs and managing Material Cost and Supplier tooling annual and lifetime project budgets
About the Team

The Purchasing Finance team is responsible for steering the finances for the material cost of our current and future model lines, including supplier tooling. We ensure that all cost and investment targets are achieved through collaboration with key stakeholders in Purchasing, manufacturing, R&D, and Finance within Bentley and the wider VW group.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of financial accounting processes and skills, with an understanding of how business processes affect company financials
  • Ability to model data and produce business models and analysis to support decision making
  • IT skills, including Advanced Excel and Office
  • Experience using business planning tools and enterprise resource planning systems, such as SAP
  • Accounting qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, and a minimum of one year of PQE experience
