Purpose of the Role
As a Senior Finance Analyst in the Purchasing team, you will play a key role in supporting the decision-making process through various activities, including scenario modeling and evaluations of outputs. You will own budgets and guide stakeholders, reporting into the Financial Controller - Purchasing. Your main responsibilities include:
  • Business partnering across all areas of Purchasing to assist with achieving their material, investment, and overhead cost targets
  • Identifying risks and opportunities through the year to achieve the adjusted target and any adjusted company profit targets
  • Assisting with Planning Round inputs
  • Managing Material Cost and Supplier tooling annual and lifetime project budgets, identifying Risks and Opportunities

About the Team
The Purchasing Finance team is responsible for steering the finances for the material cost of our current and future model lines, including supplier tooling, ensuring that all cost and investment targets are achieved. Active in forecasting, budgeting, planning, and risk and opportunity management, achieved through collaboration with key stakeholders in Purchasing, manufacturing, R&D, and Finance within Bentley and the wider VW group.
