Senior Finance Analyst Job Description

Adecco UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial information and analysis to support planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support business decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and prepare audit reconciliations for external and internal auditors.
  • Financial Data Analysis: Analyze variances against budget forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and suggest counter-measures.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Coordinate local planning, reforecasting, and budgeting processes to ensure alignment with business targets.
  • Financial Business Partnering: Provide expertise for business decisions, ensuring data quality and highlighting conflicts.
Requirements:
  • Strong Financial Knowledge: Proven experience in financial accounting processes and business impact.
  • Financial Analysis Skills: Proficiency in data modelling and business analysis to support decision-making.
  • IT Skills: Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel and enterprise resource planning systems like SAP.
  • Education: Degree in Finance or a related field, along with a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA) or equivalent (MBA).
