Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Therapies department at St Bartholomew's hospital. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide administrative support to our Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Dieticians, and Exercise Physiologists, ensuring the smooth delivery of patient care.

Main Responsibilities

Key duties include:

  • Supporting the Outpatient clinic service scheduling and coding
  • Providing clinic reception cover and managing Therapy stock orders and requests
  • Working shifts over Monday-Friday, with some 08:00 starts and 18:30 finish times to support the running of therapy Outpatient clinics

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment
  • Previous experience of working in a busy call centre, reception, or equivalent
  • Good written communication and telephone manner skills
  • Ability to input and retrieve information on a computerized system
  • Able to work as an integral member of a team
