About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Therapy Technician to join our acute neurosciences Occupational Therapy team at St George's Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside qualified Occupational Therapists to provide direct patient intervention, including one-to-one and group sessions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, maintenance of equipment loan systems, and information gathering.
  • Contribute to the development of new skills and increase autonomy in patient care.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to promote best quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Previous therapy experience, preferably as a Band 2 Therapy Assistant.
  • Experience of working in the NHS and knowledge of the role of Occupational Therapy.
  • Ability to work in a team and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use initiative in addressing own learning needs.
  • Commitment to life-long learning and willingness to work flexibly.
