We are currently seeking a Live In Support and Guidance Specialist to join our team in Gloucester. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting vulnerable young people in achieving independence.

Job DescriptionSalary

The estimated salary for this role is £26,500-£31,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Main Tasks
  1. Provide support and guidance to unaccompanied asylum seeker children, helping them to develop essential life skills and maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
  2. Deliver the independence support plan and complete daily paperwork and reports online.
  3. Flag up any repair issues with management and ensure the property is in order.
  4. Support the young person in cooking meals and cleaning up after themselves.
  5. Engage with the young person, promoting social interaction and emotional well-being.
Skills and Qualifications
  • NVQ (QCF) Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care.
  • A minimum of 12 months experience working with vulnerable young people.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • A current DBS check and full clean, UK driving license.
