About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Prisoner Custody Officer to join our team at Aylesbury Crown Court. As a key member of our Prisoner Escort and Custody Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of detainees to and from court.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells, ensuring their physical and mental wellbeing at all times.
  • Search property or people as required, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Ensure food and drink are available to detainees, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Complete paperwork and data entry for the day, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
