About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to join our Haematology team as a Personal Assistant. The successful candidate will provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to the Deputy Operations Manager and Senior Clinical Team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the complex diary of the Deputy Operations Manager and Senior Clinical Team, coordinating meetings, taking minutes, and ensuring they are fully prepared for meetings.
  • Act as a central point for communications for the senior team, handling all levels of stakeholder interactions.
  • Work effectively and efficiently, identifying better ways of working and sharing ideas to improve service delivery and transformation.
  • Undertake duties including post collection and distribution, photocopying, faxing documents, printing reports, and receiving deliveries.
  • Work flexibly and provide cover for colleagues within the Division as required.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a busy office environment or reception service.
  • Secretarial and administrative experience, including minute-taking.
  • Proficiency in IT packages, including Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to research information and work within policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ability to produce accurate documents to a high standard.
