We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional to join our team as an Engineering Process Development Lead.

This role requires a strong understanding of precision forging design principles and the ability to work effectively with suppliers to develop their capability.

The successful candidate will have experience in the precision forging Product introduction process and a deep understanding of precision forging design processes, including the development of Forging methods, Die and Tooling designs.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving a culture of zero defects within the organisation and ensuring that manufacturing processes meet safety, quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time requirements.

Additionally, you will work closely with the MECL and interfacing teams to ensure technical aspects of manufacturing processes are understood and accounted for as required.

Requirements:
  • In depth understanding of the Compressor Aerofoil Precision Forging.
  • Demonstrated Experience in the Precision forging Product introduction process.
  • Understanding of precision forging design process for the development of the Forging method, Die and Tooling designs.
  • Professionally Qualified Engineer (e.g. UK minimum HND/foundation degree or other national equivalent).
  • Understanding of Sabre Manufacturing Engineering procedures and processes.
