Axcis Education Recruitment works with a further education college in Coventry to provide support staff for young people with complex disabilities, learning difficulties, autism, and physical disabilities.

Job Summary

This role involves supporting the planning of person-centered learning activities and developing an understanding of the specific needs of the learners to be supported. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a positive culture that embeds the College's values and beliefs, while also ensuring the safety and welfare of all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • To develop and maintain a deep understanding of the individual needs of each learner and work collaboratively with colleagues to plan engaging and effective learning activities.
  • To contribute to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students, promoting their welfare and well-being at all times.
  • To support learners in improving their maths and English skills through everyday experiences and activities.
