Strategic Project Manager for Property and Asset Optimization

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Project Manager to lead high-impact projects in property and asset management, focusing on service improvements and capital developments.
About the Role
In this exciting opportunity, you will manage key projects and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve outstanding results. Reporting to the Director of Housing & Assets, you will oversee multiple property-related projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and alignment with organisational goals.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the management and delivery of property-related projects, prioritising both capital development and service improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution across all phases.
- Monitor project budgets, tracking expenses and maintaining financial discipline.
- Provide regular progress updates, addressing any project deviations, risks, or issues, and proposing effective solutions.
- Capture and track the progress of various service improvement activities across the Housing Division, ensuring efficient resource allocation and sequencing.
- Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, continuously assessing the effectiveness of risk management plans.
- Develop and maintain systems for project documentation and tracking to ensure transparency and streamlined reporting.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in property management and construction, including acquisition, development, planned maintenance, refurbishment, and disposals.
- A recognised qualification in Project Management or strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proven experience managing projects related to property and assets, particularly in areas of acquisition and development.
- Skilled in analysing performance data and taking action to drive project success.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Salary Details
The estimated salary for this role is around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
