About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled High-Speed Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Huntingdon. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex electrical and mechanical equipment across our high-speed food production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Work on high-speed food production lines, packaging machinery, and automation
  • Deal with electrical systems, including motors, sensors, servo drives, inverters, pneumatics, and gearboxes

Requirements

  • Must have experience working in a high-speed food manufacturing environment
  • At least NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 qualified in Electrical Engineering
  • Multiskilled maintenance engineer, ideally electrically biased
  • Experience working on relays, contactors, servo drives, inverters, motors
  • Beneficial to have 17th/18th Edition certification
  • Ideal candidate has completed a time-served apprenticeship
  • PLC-electrical fault finding skills
  • Experience dealing with high-speed food production, packaging machinery, and automation
  • Able to build control panels
  • Solid mechanical skills
  • Beneficial if worked in high-care food hygiene standards
