About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team at Focus Group. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new client relationships and boosting revenues across our SME and Larger business portfolio's.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Achieve monthly 'New Business' targets by acquiring new accounts and nurturing existing ones.
  2. Identify and build relationships with clients through calls, networking, and referrals.
  3. Meet activity-based KPIs and work with decision-makers to develop strategic relationships.
  4. Deliver compelling presentations on all products and services.
  5. Efficiently manage contract negotiations and close deals.
  6. Stay informed on developments for accurate sales forecasting.
  7. Evaluate market information, competitor activity, and client responses for strategic sales approaches.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Experience within the Telecoms industry selling Lines and Calls, Telephone Systems, Leased Line, and IP Telephony.
  2. Success in high-growth, entrepreneurial team environments.
  3. Achievement of new business targets and exceeding KPIs.
  4. Effective networking, deal-closing, and after-sales management skills.
  5. Quick grasp of new technologies and their business value.
  6. Resilience and tenacity in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Positive, motivational personality with a big-thinking mindset.
