About the Business Area

The Biffa Specialist Services division focuses on delivering total waste management solutions to the UK manufacturing sector. As a Strategic Business Growth Manager, you will be responsible for proposing strategic solutions that encompass continuous improvement, cost saving, best practice, and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of high-value new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operational and account management teams to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
  • Presentation and negotiation skills are essential for this role.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a comparable business development role.
  • A solutions-focused development skillset with experience in developing, managing, and implementing new business services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assess issues and recommend solutions.
