Product Quality Specialist

Accessorize is seeking a Product Quality Specialist to join our Technical Services team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our jewellery and hair products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support buying teams in the development of new products, ensuring that quality and safety standards are met.
  • Work with suppliers to achieve cost-effective production methods while maintaining quality standards.
  • Manage product testing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Liaise with QA teams in India and China to track product testing and utilize their expertise to understand supplier capabilities.
  • Review returns data and customer feedback to drive improvements in product quality.
  • Liaise with the Distribution Centre QC Department on quality inspections and follow up with buying teams and suppliers.
  • Conduct factory visits and audits to assess technical capabilities and develop CAPs.
  • Work with the Ethical Trading manager to follow up on SMETA reports and factory audits, and conduct ethical risk assessments.
  • Manage the Due Diligence testing program for jewellery and hair products.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in jewellery design or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of product construction techniques, quality and safety standards, and hallmarking.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Interest in learning about other product areas within the Accessorize brand.
