Product Quality Assurance Specialist

What You'll Be Doing- You'll work closely with Buying, Merchandising, Design, Digital, Fabric, and our supply base to leverage your expertise in various fitting and manufacturing processes and costings.
- You'll take ownership of the fit and sealing process, embedding virtual fitting on Optitex as the new norm, and ensuring that suppliers and buyers are fully engaged in the Optitex fit process.
- You'll ensure technologists stay up-to-date with Optitex software upgrades and take ownership of the virtual fit process.
- You'll risk assess product quality standards and production issues, including safety, wearer trials, performance, minimum make standards, and potential production issues.
- You'll use lessons learned, benchmarking through comparative shopping, working collaboratively with digital teams, Fabric, and suppliers to maintain ASOS Quality Standards.
- You'll analyze quality issues and customer returns within your department, putting corrective action plans and workable timeframes in place.
- You'll ensure that Technical data on the supplier Extranet is up-to-date and accurate.
- You'll support Offshore ASOS QC auditors regarding technical queries to ensure shipments aren't delayed due to incorrect technical packs provided with the Gold Seal.
- You'll respond to Customer complaints and queries.
- You'll stay up-to-date with industry innovations, networking internally and externally to identify opportunities.
This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work closely with various teams to achieve our goals. As a Product Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to get involved in cross-departmental projects and contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and fit within your department(s).
