Youth Support Worker Needed

UKCIL Ltd is looking for a dedicated Youth Support Worker to provide care and support to a 13-year-old boy with autism.

About the Job

In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the life of a young boy with autism. You will be responsible for providing support with daily living tasks, maintaining a safe environment, and engaging the child in activities that promote learning and development.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the individual with personal care and daily living tasks.
  • Plan and implement activities that cater to the child's interests and abilities.
  • Communicate effectively with the child's parents and other professionals involved in their care.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children or adults with autism.
  • A valid driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • DBS clearance and ability to obtain enhanced disclosure.
Salary

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around £26,080 based on a 40-hour workweek and 52 weeks per year. This figure may vary depending on factors such as qualifications and experience.
