About the Role:

  • We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Support Worker to join our team in Durham.
  • You will be supporting a 9 year old girl with health issues, including a tracheostomy, whilst at school.
  • The required hours are 32 hrs 55 mins per week, with flexible working hours and days.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting a 9 year old girl in school with a tracheotomy, performing tasks as needed.
  2. Working closely with the child's family and school staff to ensure seamless support.

Requirements:

  • Reliable and trustworthy individual with a patient attitude.
  • An understanding of behavioural issues is essential.
  • Experience of working with children and tracheostomy care is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
