Sales Development Manager

Avalara is seeking a Sales Development Manager to join our high-growth cloud technology business in the EMEA region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
Your primary objective will be to establish and grow professional relationships with users at all levels, build lead generation campaigns, and manage a pipeline of cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts. You will also provide sales forecasts and risk analysis using Salesforce and negotiate contracts, pricing, and service fees.
To succeed in this role, you will require 2+ years' experience in B2B selling of managed services, SaaS software or VAT related services. Excellent communication and engagement skills, territory and account planning discipline, and the ability to balance multiple sales opportunities are essential.
