About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our Home Treatment Team in Mendip. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring urgent community assessments of clients presenting in an acute mental health crisis.

Main Duties
  • Provide robust assessment skills and brief interventions to clients on the team caseload.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the team and across the community mental health service.
  • Act as a key member of a skilled Multi Disciplinary Team who will offer a wide range of psychological, medical and social interventions to support recovery.

Person Specification
  • RMN qualification and current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Significant post registration experience in multi-disciplinary community mental health services.
  • Experience of managing risk of clients in crisis.
