About the Role

Rethink Mental Illness is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will work closely with service users to achieve their personal goals and access the support they need on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across both locations to offer support and help to people affected by mental illness.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for service users.

Requirements:

  • Transferable life/work experience relevant to the role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to demonstrate empathy, understanding, and kindness.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills.
